Board packs and regulatory returns, without the month-end scramble

Regulators, boards and branch managers all depend on the same figures. In too many institutions those figures are still put together by hand, late, from systems that don't agree with each other.

Banks, savings and loans, microfinance and insurers

Where the week goes

  • Regulatory returns compiled by hand from several systems, under deadline pressure each month.
  • A management pack that arrives weeks after month end, and branch figures argued over in the meeting.
  • Account and loan onboarding slowed by paper forms, photocopies and re-keying.
  • Mobile money and bank reconciliations done line by line every morning.
  • Staff trying AI tools on customer information with no agreed rules.

Where to start

Where we’d start

You can take any of these on its own or do them in order. How buying works

Business Data Analysis

One agreed set of measures, drawn straight from source, so the pack is early and nobody argues about the numbers.

AI Workflow Automation

Onboarding documents and reconciliations follow fixed rules and come in by the hundred.

AI Training

Clear rules for using AI when customer data and regulators are involved.

Illustrative scenario: Savings and loans company

The management pack on the table in the first week of the month.

Each month the finance team of a savings and loans company exports figures from the core banking system and from branch spreadsheets, then assembles the management pack by hand. The pack reaches the executive committee in the third week of the following month, and branch figures are often questioned in the meeting.

A reporting review would establish which decisions the pack is meant to support, which measures matter and where the figures diverge. We would then agree one definition for each key measure, draw the data from its source in a repeatable way and redesign the pack so that exceptions by branch and product are visible on the first page.
