The Asle Operating Review

Request an Operating Review

If you know something’s wrong but not why, start here. We spend two to three weeks on one part of your organisation and look at four things: how people use AI, whether the reports can be trusted, where repetitive work piles up and where approvals stall. You come away knowing which services you need, in what order, and which you can skip.

How long
Typically two to three weeks for one area
Your team's time
Five to eight interviews of about 45 minutes, plus access to reports and documents
You receive
A written report with costed priorities and a findings session with your leadership
Fee
Fixed, agreed in writing before it starts
  1. Scope. A short conversation to pick the area, agree who we’ll speak to and fix the fee.
  2. Listen and watch. Interviews with the people who manage and do the work, and time spent watching the work itself.
  3. Examine. We go through your reports, data, documents and systems, looking at all four areas.
  4. Report back. We present what we found to your leadership and leave a written report with costed priorities.
  • Where the time and money are going, and roughly how much.
  • What’s really causing it, as opposed to what it looks like from the outside.
  • What to fix and in what order, with the service that fixes each one and a rough idea of the effort and the payoff.
  • What to leave alone for now, because it isn’t worth fixing yet.

Engagement formats

What the work can look like

Fixed-scope projects

A defined piece of work with milestones and something to show at the end: a reporting pack, an automated workflow, a redesigned process.Fixed fee per project, paid in stages against milestones.

Training programmes

Role-based AI training for a team, a department or the whole organisation, including a management session.Fixed fee per programme, based on groups and sessions.

Ongoing support

Regular management analysis, looking after automations we’ve built, and refresher training as the tools change.Monthly retainer, reviewed every quarter. One month’s notice to stop.

How fees work

No price list, and no hourly billing

  • Every piece of work is scoped to your problem, so a price list wouldn’t tell you much.
  • You get a fixed fee and a written scope before any work starts.
  • Bigger pieces of work come in stages, and you can stop after any of them.
  • You won’t be billed by the hour, and there are no licences to buy from us.

Choosing who to work with

How we compare with the alternatives

A large consultancy

We scope the work to one problem, agree a fixed fee before we start, and stay to make the change happen.

A software vendor

We’ve got nothing to sell you but the work, and we use what you already own wherever we can.

A new hire

You get data, AI and process skills together for as long as the problem lasts, without recruiting anyone or adding to the payroll.
