Using AI at work: what to allow, what to check
18:00 to 19:00 GMT (Accra time), live and online. What to use AI for at work, what never goes in, and what to check before it goes out.
In the hour
Four things everyone using AI at work should know
Anyone who uses AI at work, or leads people who do. No experience needed.
- 01Where AI helps, and where it goes wrong
First drafts and summaries on one side; invented facts, made-up sources and confident mistakes on the other.
- 02What never goes in
Client details, staff records, contracts and anything confidential: why a public AI tool is the wrong place for them.
- 03The checks before work goes out
What to check before anything written with AI reaches a client, a colleague or a file.
- 04Writing it down
The outline of a short AI use policy, for your own work or your team’s.

Questions
Before you join
Do I need any experience with AI?
No. If you can use email, you can follow the session. It is about what to use AI for and what to check, not about technical skills.
Which tools does it cover?
The ones most people at work already use: ChatGPT, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and Claude. There is nothing to install.
Is it recorded?
Yes. We record the session and keep the recording, and everyone who signed up gets it by email afterwards, so you can catch up if you miss it. You can keep your camera and microphone off.
Is there a certificate?
The webinar is a free hour, so there’s no certificate. Every paid workshop comes with a numbered one.
Can my whole team come?
Yes, bring them all. Each person signs up with their own email, so everyone gets the joining link, the reminders and the recording. If you’d then like training built around your team’s own documents and rules, see AI Training.
Training a whole team? See AI Training for organisations. Other sessions are on Open sessions.
